We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Admissions & Student Affairs Officer, preferably with Chinese‐language proficiency, to join our dynamic team at Wells International School. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth admissions process and providing ongoing support for student welfare. The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison between prospective and current families, students, and school staff, upholding our commitment to a welcoming, safe, and supportive school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring compliance with school policies and data protection regulations.
  • Respond to prospective families' inquiries and coordinate school tours, admission tests, and interviews.
  • Process and verify application materials, handle payment coordination, and maintain accurate student records.
  • Serve as the main contact for prospective and current families, providing clear communication about admissions and school programs.
  • Support student orientation, transition activities, and student welfare in collaboration with counselors and staff.
  • Assist in developing support plans for students with specific academic or behavioral needs.
  • Organize student activities and promote student engagement and well‐being.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to support recruitment and promotional events.
  • Ensure compliance with child safeguarding policies and relevant legal requirements.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in admissions and student affairs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in admissions, student affairs, or a related role, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Chinese‐speaking / Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong ICT proficiency and experience with student information systems (e.g., PowerSchool) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
