About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to join the International Compensation team within Total Rewards. This role plays a key part in delivering competitive, data-driven compensation solutions across EMEA and APAC, supporting business performance, talent attraction and retention.

You will contribute to the design, analysis and delivery of compensation programmes, with a strong focus on analytics, governance and regulatory compliance. The role partners closely with HR, Talent Acquisition and business leaders, particularly within Corporate & Investment Banking and key corporate functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compensation specialist—or an HR professional with strong analytical capability—to further develop expertise and make a meaningful impact on Wells Fargo’s employee value proposition.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide compensation advice and guidance to HR partners, Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders.
  • Support annual compensation cycles, including salary and bonus planning, ensuring accuracy and adherence to governance standards.
  • Deliver high-quality analytics and reporting to inform compensation decisions and workforce planning.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. Gender Pay Gap, Director Remuneration, Pillar 3 and High Earners disclosures).
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on market benchmarking, offer structuring and buy-out analysis.
  • Administer and manage off-cycle compensation reviews and approvals.
  • Ensure all activities align with internal controls, risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.
  • Contribute to compensation projects, process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Collaborate effectively with regional and global compensation teams and other stakeholders.
  • Apply sound judgement to resolve complex compensation issues while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Experience in Compensation or Analytics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and manipulate large, complex datasets.
  • Experience working with HR systems (e.g. Workday) or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Understanding of compensation principles, market benchmarking and reward practices.
  • Experience working in a regulated or controlled environment is beneficial.
