About this role: The Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) group supports Wells Fargo's Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking businesses. This diverse portfolio of capabilities spans multiple technology disciplines and strategic innovations. CCIBT provides strategic, enterprise-wide technology capabilities and enabling services to our lines of business and management of the applications in terms of skills, stability, security, scalability, speed, and cost.

The CCIBT Head of International Platform Support is an operationally focused technology leader responsible for the management of production systems used by Wells Fargo’s international businesses in Asia, Europe, Canada and the Caribbean. This leader will ensure smooth running of global IT operations across all CCIBT functions, ensuring high-quality outcomes from business and market-driven change events, technology incidents, and strategic technology transformation.

The Global Head of AI Operations (AI Ops) is a senior technical leader responsible for transforming the organization's legacy operations model into a modern, AI-driven, autonomous operations capability. This leader will empower a next-generation run function with tools to support operational excellence, cyber resilience, predictive intelligence, and autonomous remediation to achieve industry-leading service reliability and target-state availability. They will own the strategy, execution, and operational outcomes associated with AI-driven observability, self-healing systems, autonomous incident response, vulnerability remediation, site reliability engineering, change delivery, and cyber-operational resilience.

These two functional roles will be satisfied by a single leadership position, reporting to the CCIBT Platform Head. The Head of International Support and AI Ops will be based in our Singapore office, with both regional and global responsibilities. The role serves as the CCIBT organization's primary executive accountable for evolving technology operations into predictive, autonomous, and data-driven enterprise capabilities. It also provides senior leadership in day-to-day operations for CCIBT technology.

As a member of our team, you'll be involved in the management of all our business-facing IT systems, overseeing application upgrades, spearheading vulnerability remediation efforts, and developing AI-enabled tools. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the stability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of our technology solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Manage the local and regional team of technologists who support the CCIBT applications and services.
    • Liaise with partners in software engineering, testing, product management and business operations teams to support the best outcomes in our ongoing development of IT systems.
    • Drive a globally consistent and high-quality team to manage, support, change.
    • Develop and execute the CCIBT AI Operations strategy aligned to business growth, digital transformation, cyber resilience, and operational excellence objectives.
    • Establish the roadmap to transition from traditional operations to autonomous operations.
    • Build and lead a high-performing AI Ops organization spanning technology operations, reliability engineering, observability, automation, and autonomous remediation.
    • Define measurable operational outcomes including uptime, resiliency, cyber risk reduction, and operational efficiency.
    • Serve as the executive sponsor for AI-enabled operational transformation initiatives.
  • Autonomous Operations Transformation
    • Implement AI-driven monitoring, event correlation, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
    • Lead the deployment of autonomous operational workflows capable of identifying, diagnosing, and resolving incidents without human intervention.
    • Establish closed-loop automation across infrastructure, networks, applications, cloud platforms, and data services.
    • Drive implementation of self-healing architectures and intelligent recovery mechanisms.
    • Eliminate manual operational processes wherever automation can provide safer and faster outcomes.
  • International Platform Operations
    • Lead day-to-day international platform operations across APAC and EMEA, ensuring incidents, changes, and problems are managed with clear ownership, urgency, and business focus.
    • Establish consistent regional operating practices for incident management, change execution, problem resolution, handover, escalation, and service governance across international time zones.
    • Drive effective management of business-impacting incidents, ensuring rapid triage, timely escalation, clear stakeholder communication, and disciplined recovery through APAC and EMEA market hours.
    • Oversee regional change activity to ensure production readiness, safe implementation, business alignment, and effective post-change validation across international platforms.
    • Strengthen problem management discipline by ensuring recurring issues are identified, root causes are addressed, corrective actions are tracked, and operational risk is reduced across the international estate.
  • Service Reliability & Availability
    • Own enterprise availability strategy and roadmap toward 99.999% service availability.
    • Establish Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices across critical business platforms.
    • Develop predictive models to identify service degradation before customer impact occurs.
    • Reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Recover (MTTR) through AI-driven automation.
    • Ensure resilience is designed into all production environments.
  • Cyber Resilience & Vulnerability Operations
    • Lead the convergence of operational resilience and cyber resilience.
    • Establish AI-powered vulnerability intelligence and risk prioritization capabilities.
    • Build autonomous vulnerability remediation programs capable of:
      • Automated patch deployment
      • Configuration correction
      • Compliance enforcement
      • Infrastructure hardening
      • Risk-based remediation orchestration
    • Minimize vulnerability exposure windows through continuous monitoring and automated response.
    • Partner with the CISO organization to strengthen enterprise cyber defense capabilities.
    • Create automated containment and recovery workflows for cyber incidents.
    • Ensure technology platforms can withstand and rapidly recover from cyber disruptions.
  • AI Governance & Responsible AI Operations
    • Establish governance frameworks for AI-enabled operational decision making.
    • Ensure explainability, auditability, and compliance of AI-driven remediation activities.
    • Implement controls that balance automation speed with enterprise risk requirements.
    • Create standards for AI model management, validation, and operational oversight.
  • Operational Excellence & Financial Management
    • Reduce operational costs through automation and intelligent process optimization.
    • Improve operational productivity and engineer effectiveness.
    • Deliver measurable improvements in:
      • Incident reduction
      • Service availability

    • Develop executive dashboards and KPI frameworks to measure business value realization.

    Required Qualifications: Experience in Technology Strategic Leadership, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education. Management or leadership experience. Experience of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology operations, infrastructure, cloud, engineering, AI Ops, or cyber resilience. Experience of leading large-scale global technology operations organizations. Proven track record driving enterprise transformation programs. Experience implementing AI/ML-driven operational platforms and automation frameworks. Experience leading mission-critical environments requiring high availability and operational resilience. Strong understanding of cyber security operations, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation.
