About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Global Head of Banks---Treasury Management Consulting, responsible for creating sales opportunities with treasury management clients and prospects.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a Treasury Management Consulting team of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate to high complexity and risk.
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development in the Treasury Management Consulting functional area.
- Lead the Treasury Management Consulting team by making strategic decisions to meet higher-risk deliverables.
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk within scope of responsibility in the Treasury Management Consulting functional area.
- Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the function or affected by its outcomes.
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership, as well as interact directly with external customers in the Treasury Management Consulting functional area.
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Treasury Management Consulting.
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Treasury Management Sales, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, education.
- Management or leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proven success selling payments, liquidity, and treasury solutions to banks.
- Deep knowledge of domestic and cross-border payment solutions, including ACH, Fedwire, RTP, and SWIFT.
- Strong understanding of liquidity management products, including cash concentration, account structures, sweeps, and balance optimization solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to originate, structure, negotiate, and close complex treasury services opportunities with senior banking executives.
- Working knowledge of correspondent banking, bank-to-bank settlement, clearing, and cash management services.
- Strong consultative sales and relationship management skills with the ability to engage C-suite and treasury decision-makers.
Job Expectations: Travel up to 50%.
