Overview

We are looking for a Relief Pharmacist to support our Pharmacy teams across the Swansea area and to make a real difference within the communities you’ll support.

The successful candidate will work either 4 or 5 weekday shifts plus one Saturday every second weekend.

The role requires travel up to an hour from home, so a valid driving licence and access to an own vehicle are essential.

Wells Pharmacy, part of Bestway Healthcare, is the second largest pharmacy chain in the UK with roughly 760 pharmacies and a team of around 7,000 colleagues across community pharmacies, an online pharmacy, a healthcare services centre, community drivers, Medhub & Wardles, and a support centre.

Responsibilities

  • Provide relief support to pharmacy teams across the Swansea area.
  • Work 4 or 5 weekday shifts plus one Saturday every other weekend.
  • Travel up to an hour from home to cover various pharmacy locations.
  • Support the delivery of clinical services, dispensing, and patient counselling.
  • Collaborate with Area and Regional Operations Managers on pharmacy visits and quality improvements.
  • Utilise new technology such as the PMR system and centralised dispensing to optimise service delivery.

Qualifications

  • MPharm degree or equivalent.
  • Valid GPh C registration at the start of employment.
  • Driving licence with access to a private vehicle.
  • Management experience desirable but not essential.
