Job Overview
We are looking for a Saturday Pharmacist to support our Pharmacy teams across South Derbyshire and to make a real difference within the communities you'll support.
Working Hours
Primary Saturday shift: 9:00am – 1:00pm. Additional hours may be available during the week if required.
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmaceutical care and services on Saturday shifts.
- Work collaboratively with community pharmacy staff and support operational activities.
- Adhere to GPhC guidelines and quality standards.
- Support new pharmacy technologies including PMR system and centralised dispensing.
- Participate in regular structured pharmacy visits and report to Area & Regional Operations Managers.
- Contribute to mental health awareness initiatives and support staff wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Graduated with an MPharm degree or equivalent.
- Current GPhC registration available on the start date.
- Management experience is desired but not essential.
- Local authority registration (PSNI) and DBS/PVG verification may be required.
