Pharmacist Manager
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Hungerford Medical Centre in Crewe.
This community pharmacy is commutable from surrounding towns, cities and villages and is located next to a medical centre with which it has a good relationship.
- Overview
- The pharmacy dispenses 1700 items a week and offers a wide range of services including:
- National Medicines Service (NMS)
- Hypertension management
- Pharmacy First services
- Weight management services
- Travel, COVID and flu vaccinations
- Other private services
- Community blisters and a small number of substance misuse patients
The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 6.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for patients and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards, including GPh C registration.
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling and workflow to maintain efficiency and high service quality.
- Work closely with the Area and Regional Operations Managers to support continuous improvement and pharmacy visits.
- Utilise new technology such as the PMR system and centralised dispensing to focus on quality care.
- Promote mental health and well‑being initiatives and support staff through the Mental Health Awareness course.
Qualifications
- MPharm degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven management experience in a community pharmacy setting.
- GPh C registration at the time of joining.
