Welcome to The Radcliffe Arms, your go-to local in the heart of Hitchin! We’re not just a pub; we’re a hub for craft beer aficionados and pizza lovers. We are currently closed for a major refurbishment which will bring an exciting new look and feel to our customers, both old and new! We re-open at the end of March and are looking for additional passionate chefs to start around mid-March in readiness for our grand opening!

Your role as chef:

  • Prepare, cook and present perfect food in accordance with company standards thereby exceeding guest satisfaction at every eating occasion.
  • Takes pride in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Adheres to safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Adheres accurately and consistently to portion controls.
  • Carrying out stock rotation to ensure all food items are within their shelf life, including maintaining correct storage conditions.
  • Ensuring the kitchen operation is maintained to the highest of standards with regards to cleanliness and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months chef experience.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Desire to learn, improve and train from those around you.
  • A proud individual that always strives to deliver their best.
