\\n\\nThe Old Cock Inn is a delightful pub & restaurant in the heart of Harpenden, offering guests the added benefit of six boutique bedrooms. We have a stylish and cosy restaurant, a relaxed and informal bar area with a roaring log fire for the colder months, and our lovely terrace garden at the back. We’re what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, alongside an extensive wine, gin and spirit list.
\\n\\nPosition
\\n\\nYour role as chef:
\\n\\n- \\n\\t
- Prepare, cook and present perfect food in accordance with company standards therefore exceeding guest satisfaction at every eating occasion \\n\\t
- Taking PRIDE in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness \\n\\t
- Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times \\n\\t
- Adhering accurately and consistently to portion controls \\n\\t
- Carrying out stock rotation to ensure all food items are within their shelf life, including maintaining correct storage conditions \\n\\t
- Ensuring the kitchen operation is maintained to the highest of standards with regards to cleanliness and maintenance \\n
Requirements

- Minimum 6 months chef experience \\n\\t
- Ability to work on your own initiative \\n\\t
- Desire to learn, improve and train from those around you \\n\\t
