We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our community pharmacy in Halstead located opposite the GP surgery. The pharmacy dispenses 2,200 items a week, provides services such as BP, PF, ABPM, Covid, Flu, NMS, Weight Loss and Contraception, and manages 20 community blisters. It is open 8:30AM to 6:30PM Monday‑Friday and 9:00AM to 1:30PM. Our dynamic team consists of three staff, one trainee technician and one NVQ2 qualified pharmacist.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the pharmacy team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for patients and customers.
- Ensure compliance with all GPhC regulations and maintain up‑to‑date registration.
- Oversee dispensing, inventory and the use of new technologies such as the PMR system and centralised dispensing.
- Support staff development and participate in regular structured visits by the Area Operations Manager and the Regional Operations Manager.
- Apply mental health awareness principles within the pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- MPharm degree or equivalent.
- Demonstrated management experience in a community pharmacy setting.
- GPhC registration required at start date.
