At Wells & Co, we’re proud of our pubs and the warm welcome they offer. Cleanliness plays a huge part in that. We’re looking for a part-time Cleaner to ensure the pub is sparkling clean and ready to welcome guests each day.
Responsibilities
- Previous cleaning experience within hospitality, pubs, bars, or restaurants.
- Availability to work part-time, consistently between 10am and 12pm.
- Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness in customer-facing areas (bar, tables, seating areas, toilets, and entrances).
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and handling of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to complete tasks within the set timeframe.
- Physically fit to carry out tasks such as mopping, lifting chairs/stools, polishing fixtures, emptying bins, and cleaning toilets.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience in deep cleaning tasks (e.g., carpets, hard floors, and furniture).
- Familiarity with waste management and recycling procedures common in pubs.
- Good communication skills for liaising with managers and bar staff.
Additional Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undertake health and safety training.
