Responsibilities include assisting the Pharmacist in managing the day-to-day running of the dispensary by allocating work to Dispensing Technician and Dispensing Assistant staff, ensuring efficient and safe operation. Manage stock levels, act as a key point of contact for customers, provide healthcare advice and services at the counter, and assist with sales and general store duties including product displays and cash transactions. Handle a variety of tasks – from acting as the first point of contact for customers to managing high-volume dispensing transactions for local care homes and dealing with operational queries from GP surgeries.
Qualifications: Desirable qualities include being friendly, organised, and passionate about providing excellent customer service. Must possess an Accuracy Checking Qualification, an NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services, and be GPhC registered.
