Wells Cathedral School seeks to appoint an experienced Payroll Manager to join a busy team who will be responsible for our 3 payrolls (currently using WCBS Payroll Plus software). The post requires exceptional organisation and communication skills with a can do attitude, together with a willingness to go above and beyond.
The successful candidate will ensure that the payroll database holds accurate data, including pay rates, personal details, PAYE/NI and other statutory body details, and will line manage the day to day responsibility and tasks of our Payroll Assistant.
A Payroll related qualification such as CIPP, experience of working with a Payroll database and working knowledge of P11D administration and calculation are essential for this role.

Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date and Wells Cathedral School reserves the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made.
