The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 £ per hour.
All year round, evenings and weekends. Zero hours. We are seeking to appoint three Lifeguard & Leisure Assistants, one to commence as soon as possible and two to commence in September 2026, to work as and when required.
The successful candidates will be expected to supervise the security and safety of the pupils and public, ensuring their enjoyment in all areas of the facility and carry out rescues as required. Successful candidates will be expected to maintain the facility and sports equipment to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
A need to be flexible and available at times during the day and week to meet the needs of our visitors and clients is essential. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is essential for this role.
Wells Cathedral School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers, and obtaining an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services certificate. In addition, as part of the shortlisting process we will carry out an online search as part of the School’s due diligence.
