Wells Cathedral School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to safely operate the school minibus as and when required. Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting. A clean driving licence is essential, along with the ability to work in a professional and responsible manner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the minibuses. A clean full drivers licence prior to 1997 or a D1 category licence is essential for this role.
Wells Cathedral School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers, and obtaining an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. In addition, as part of the shortlisting process, we will carry out an online search as part of the Schools due diligence.
