The Swan Inn is a beautiful 13th century thatched country pub & restaurant, which has undoubtedly changed over the years, yet retains a wealth of original features & oozes a rustic, rural charm. Our orchard beer garden is beautiful in the spring and summer months and really is the jewel in our crown.

Position:

  • Your role as chef: Prepare, cook and present perfect food in accordance with company standards therefore exceeding guest satisfaction at every eating occasion.
  • Taking PRIDE in maintaining highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Adhering accurately and consistently to portion controls.
  • Carrying out stock rotation to ensure all food items are within their shelf life, including maintaining correct storage conditions.
  • Ensuring the kitchen operation is maintained to the highest of standards with regards to cleanliness and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Min 12 months as Sous Chef with a background in a busy food operation and passion for food quality.
  • The ability to deliver to excellent standards in a fast paced and pressurised environment.
  • Leadership qualities including motivating your team through holding regular and engaging team meetings and briefs.
  • A role model and a vision to inspire the kitchen team.
  • Have a desire to develop your career with a well known and expanding company.
