Fancy moving to FRANCE??!!!! We are looking for professional, enthusiastic and dedicated beer loving General Managers to join our teams across France!
Our English family brewery and pub company “Wells & Co” based in the UK has existed for over 140 years and in addition to a portfolio of 160 pubs in the UK, we are very proud of our 19 establishments offering our customers unique English beers, great food, hospitality and regular events. Our sites are located across France, including Paris, La Rochelle, Lille, Reims, Lyon, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Strasbourg and Toulouse.

We will provide you with:
- Permanent contract – forfait jours
- Competitive salary 47K€
- 5 weeks of holiday + RTT
- Immediate start
- 3 weeks training: in another establishment
Your role as General Manager:
- Overall management of the pub, maintaining front and back of house standards to drive excellence in food and drink delivery
- Ensuring guests are cared for to the highest standards and expectations exceeded, so they return with their friends!
- Recommend and serve perfect beers every time!
- Delivering against key measures of sales, profit, and team retention whilst having fun along the way!
- Conduct regular stock control and compare to usage reports including waste records to identify opportunities for tighter control
- Ensure procedures are followed to comply with H&S standards
- Recruit and maintain a motivated team with excellent standards identifying talent and ensuring succession
- Prepare weekly employée rotas
- Set budgets and complete regular reports as required
- Promote the pub and events to drive footfall and sales growth
What we are looking for:
- Min 3yrs General Management experience, gained in a pub or bar
- Ability to speak English and French fluently
- Energy and motivation to successfully lead and inspire your team
- Excellent operational skills as well as a solid base of back office management
- Full financial understanding, and be able to react to the ever-changing needs of the business
- The ability to lead from the front and develop & train the team where required
- A result driven and ambitious individual excited at the opportunity to grow your business
- A passion for the industry, English Pubs and great beer
- Pub opening hours are late afternoon to evening 7 days p/w
