Built in 1891 and restored with modern comfort and character, The Embankment has become one of Bedford’s most loved spots for relaxed dining, weekend stays, celebrations and private events.

We’re currently looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a housekeeper and cleaner at our pub, restaurant, and hotel. This is a key role in ensuring our rooms, public areas, and facilities are kept spotless, welcoming, and up to the high standards our guests expect. If you take pride in creating a clean, comfortable environment and enjoy being part of a friendly, professional team, we’d love to hear from you. Flexibility with working hours is key! You must be willing to work weekends, early mornings, or evenings as needed.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail: Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are cleaned to a high standard.
