Position
Based at Brewpoint, our family home on the outskirts of Bedford, we are currently looking to recruit a Part-Time detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to gain further experience in finance or further their career in the industry. You will play a key role in providing day to day support which will involve responsibilities within the Treasury and Management accounting teams.
This is a PART TIME position Monday – Friday totalling around 25-28 hrs p/w to suit. For the right person, this role could evolve over time to develop new accounting skills.
Key Accountabilities:
- Entering bank transactions into UK and French accounting systems.
- Bank reconciliations for UK and French bank accounts.
- Assisting with invoice processing for UK & France.
- Completing the monthly company credit card process and accounting for the UK.
- Monthly Company credit card reconciliations for France.
- Review and processing of France petty cash expenses.
- Completing the Managed House cash reconciliation process.
- Assisting with the French cash reconciliation process.
- Assisting in preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting the French and UK accounting team in other ad hoc tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an accounts related role.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Flexible and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A “can do” attitude, excited about being a part of a changing and evolving culture.
