We are looking for a confident Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Wellpets, Worle. You will be warmly welcomed into our cosy farm-house practice, where we pride ourselves on clinics that meet the needs of our local community. We are happy to support relocation for the right candidate.
We offer flexible working arrangements, with options for full time (usually over 4 days) or part time hours. There are no out-of-hours duties, and we can discuss flexibility within your rota to support a healthy work/life balance. You will be required to contribute to our Saturday rota (8:30am – 12:30pm). Our local OOH service provider provides additional support as needed. If you have preferred working hours, let us know and we’ll explore how to accommodate them.
Although this is a sole-charge position, you will have access to an excellent network of local IVC practices for collaboration. Our Yeovil branch of Wellpets is available for discussing clinical cases and mutual support by phone or video conference. We also work closely with Vale Portishead (a hospital) and participate in clinical club meetings.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality small animal veterinary care in a sole-charge capacity while collaborating with a broader network of clinics for case discussion and support.
- Join a Saturday rota (8:30am – 12:30pm) and participate in the practice’s schedule in a way that supports work-life balance.
- Utilise modern equipment and a well-structured diary to deliver 1:1 care and build strong relationships with clients and the nursing team.
- Engage with colleagues and contribute positively to the team and to the growth of the practice.
- Be open to discussing flexible working hours and relocation if required.
- Salary up to £75,000 DOE. Relocation allowance up to £5,000. Welcome bonus up to £10,000.
