How you make a difference The Nurse Practitioner (NP), under supervision, provides comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients, ensuring documentation and communication with the Site Medical Director. They coordinate coverage and respond to emergencies as needed. Key Responsibilities Providing medical care, including exams, chronic care, and infirmary rounds Maintaining accurate SOAP notes and adhering to formulary guidelines Responding to emergencies and managing non-formulary drugs or off-site referrals Supporting policies for admissions, transfers, and referrals Maintaining confidentiality and participating in facility committees Additional Details This is a 0.95 FTE salaried position working three 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift weekly, with weekend and on-call duties. Must be licensed in WI, have a DEA license, and be willing to work with our MAT patient population.
