Date: September 2026 You will deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing pupils' musical knowledge, creativity and confidence.
Your responsibilities will include
- Planning and delivering engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Teaching music theory, composition, performance and appreciation.
- Supporting pupils to make strong academic and musical progress.
- Preparing and supporting pupils through their KS4 studies.
- Encouraging pupils of different abilities to participate confidently in music.
- Contributing to extracurricular music, performances and wider school life.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop the Music curriculum.
About You
We are looking for someone who
- Holds a degree in Music or a closely related discipline.
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Music at secondary level.
- Can plan creative and engaging lessons that inspire pupils.
- Has high expectations for pupil progress and achievement.
- Is enthusiastic, adaptable and committed to professional development.
- Is keen to contribute to the wider musical and creative life of the school.
