Are you a strategic transport leader with a proven track record of managing multi-site operations, driving compliance, and delivering operational excellence?
We're looking for an experienced Head of Transport to lead our national transport function.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service, operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across our transport network.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading a great transport team across the UK
- Acting as the nominated Transport Manager on the Operator’s Licence, ensuring full DVSA and Traffic Commissioner compliance
- Driving transport optimisation, fleet efficiency, cost control, and KPI performance
- Delivering industry-leading service levels, including OTIF performance and customer satisfaction
- Championing Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards
- Leading transformational projects, process improvements, and system optimisation
- Developing high-performing teams through coaching, succession planning, engagement, and people leadership

- Deep understanding of Operator Licence compliance and transport legislation
