Are you commercially sharp, passionate about premium food, and credible with chefs and hospitality leaders? Wellocks is looking for an outstanding Business Development Manager to join our team and help shape the future of premium hospitality.
As our new BDM, you’ll play a key role in growing existing accounts and winning new premium hospitality business. This is a food‑led, commercially focused role where you’ll be as comfortable talking margin as you are talking menus.
- Delivering sales, margin and growth targets
- Winning new premium hospitality accounts aligned with the Wellocks brand
- Using a consultative, chef‑centric, menu‑led approach to introduce seasonal, specialist and premium ranges
- Using CRM to maintain activity, pipeline and follow‑up
- Field sales / BDM experience
- Proven success growing existing accounts and closing new business
- Credibility and confidence working with chefs and food‑led operators
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Foodservice or food wholesale background
- Knowledge of food categories and ingredients
- CRM experience
