The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 Β£ per hour.

Are you a committed, experienced and professional support worker looking to make a difference? We are looking for experienced support workers to establish a team to assist our client, a young man who sustained a high-level spinal cord injury over 12 years ago. Our client will be moving to SDA housing in Salisbury early December. The hours are across an active 24/7 roster. Above Award wages apply.

As this is a high complex care model, we are seeking professional workers that have worked with and are confident with clients who live with Spinal Cord injury. You will be responsible for providing dedicated, individualised and flexible support services to assist our client to live independently, safely, and comfortably within the community.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting with personal care - hygiene, transfers, continence, grooming, etc.
  • Supporting to access the community - transport to and from appointments or shopping.
  • Working within a highly unwavering team of workers.

Our Applicants will have:

  • An engaging Person-centred approach to in home support with exceptional listening skills.
  • Effective communication and relationship building skills.

  • Proven experience in collaborating with people living with a disability that have high complex care needs, preference to individuals with Spinal Cord injury experience.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar or Diploma of Nursing/Bachelor of Nursing.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
  • Valid unrestricted Driver's Licence and willing to transport clients.
