Position Overview
Required from September 2026. Fixed Term – supporting a Year 7 pupil until they leave Wellington School.
Job Details
- Term Time only plus INSET Days / Twilight sessions.
- 32.5 hours per week, 8.30am - 4.00pm.
- Actual Salary from £23,608 (depending on experience).
Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive team and provide dedicated 1:1 support for a female student with Cerebral Palsy and Cerebral Visual Impairment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCO and external professionals to support the student's learning and development in line with their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Provide physical and personal support throughout the school day, enabling the student to fully access the curriculum and participate in all aspects of school life.
- Receive training and ongoing support.
