Wellington Road Family Practice (WRFP) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to step in as Lead Practice Nurse at our forward-thinking GP practice based in Yate, South Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with team leadership, while playing a key role in helping the practice achieve its financial and quality targets.

We are open to a range of working patterns such as full time, part time or job shares. Working hours can be agreed and there will be an element of remote working involved occasionally. Salary is flexible depending on experience.

Main duties of the job

  • Deliver high quality patient care
  • Lead and inspire our nursing team, driving development and high standards of care
  • Act as Infection Prevention & Control lead
  • Manage and develop chronic disease, health promotion and frailty programmes
  • Support practice income achievement (QOF, IIF, LES/DES, Public Health)
  • Oversee rotas, appraisals, training and compliance
