The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

As Civil Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for technical and quality support for the on-site phase of the delivery of major works. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Coordinate construction works interfaces, attend weekly planning and construction meetings
  • Review construction method proposals, methodologies and risk assessments
  • Undertake frequent site visits to inspect and coordinate work sites for compliance to all requirements in the contract - quality, safety and environment
  • Supervise construction works and undertake the role of NEC4 contract Site Supervisor
  • Liaison with stakeholders, utility operators, design teams etc.
  • Prepare progress and quality reports including works impacting on schedule, quality, cost implications, H&S and identified risks and issues
  • Escalate issues and risks to Project / Contract Manager including the impact of change and the evaluation of compensation events

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A construction-related qualification with experience in civil engineering projects
  • On-site experience of civil engineering/construction works to include roads/highways and knowledge of managing construction safety
  • Strong planning and organisational skills across a range of complex activities
  • Experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook, able to compile and present project reports
  • Experience of NEC3/NEC4 contracts highly desirable

You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to act within a team at all times.
