Social network you want to login/join with: HSE Manager Based out of the head office in Lisburn with some travel, you will be responsible for the overall management of safety compliance processes. Our client specializes in no-dig engineering services, pipeline investigation, and repair in the utility sector. Due to major contract awards in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, and Scotland, they are looking to add an HSE Manager who will work in conjunction with the Operations Manager and Director to ensure a safe and clean working environment is maintained. If you are a self-starter with 5-10 years of progressive HSE experience, then this could be your next move. You will also need strong people skills with the ability to motivate and empower, to be a strong communicator, and able to take the initiative and function independently. *Please note this is an immediate requirement so early application is advisable* Responsibilities: Coordinate with business leaders to provide knowledge and education on Health and Safety regulations Communicate and review company HSE policies Manage safety management databases Provide problem resolution that results in process or project improvements Apply knowledge independently to resolve problems promptly Contribute to problem identification and solutions through analysis Assist in building Platform training documents Own the regional emergency preparedness processes Manage workplace incidents to resolution Create, manage, and review site-specific safety plans Requirements: 5-10 years of progressive Health, Safety, and Environmental experience Experience working with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and internal clients Safety training experience Knowledge of company drug and alcohol policies Ability to work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance Ability to plan and implement process projects timely Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business and technical documents; drafting reports and procedures; presenting information effectively Basic arithmetic, statistical, algebraic, and geometric skills Problem-solving skills with variable situations and interpreting various instructions #J-18808-Ljbffr
