As a Civil Engineer, you will join a team of industry professionals delivering supervision and engineering solutions for a major road and bridge infrastructure project. Based on site in Co. Fermanagh, this is an opportunity to help one of the top Engineering Consultancies deliver professional supervisory services on the Enniskillen Southern Bypass scheme. A high level of autonomy is associated with this position; our Client will fully support membership and career progression to becoming Chartered and work on a diverse range of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design coordination and review, oversee pavement construction, bridge construction, traffic planning, stakeholder engagement, utility diversion, etc.
- Preparation of project reports, including planning, tender, and construction stages.
- Coordination of design drawings and review of drawings prepared by others.
- Review of Contractor and Design Team proposals.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline, such as Civil Engineering.
- At least 3 to 5 years\' experience in the design and/or construction of Roads/Highways projects, including pavement design, bridge construction, and earthworks.
- Computer literacy to include AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project, would be desirable.
- Experience of working in a client-facing role, with strong communication skills, would be desirable.
