About The Role

The Questionnaires Team within Client Operations has an open position for a Client Services Writer focused on both firm-level and investment product responses in client questionnaires. The Team is responsible for the development of high-quality RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFIs (Requests for Information), DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires), and other ad hoc questionnaires/deliverables. These deliverables assist in the procurement of new business, meet the complex reporting requirements of current clients and accurately, clearly, and articulately describe the firm and its investment solutions. The submittal of well-written questionnaires is a critical step in the sales and client reporting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Writing, coordinating, editing, and proofreading firm and product level content and questionnaires. This includes, but may not be limited to:
  • developing an expertise in investment approaches and the many facets of firm-level content (e.g., trading, compliance, operational risk, etc.) to effectively craft and enhance responses
  • developing and maintaining original content for product text, as well as proposing modifications to current product text
  • Collaboration with investment teams, client facing teams, and other subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Understanding of evolving market trends and areas of client focus
  • Content management including partnering with SMEs to leverage our Content Management and Response Software to ensure the most accurate and up to date information is being used when responding to clients

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant RFP/writing experience in the investment industry is required
  • Excellent investment writing, quantitative, and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
  • A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential
  • Independent self-starter and a team player able to work on multiple assignments against strict and competing deadlines
  • Familiarity with Loopio will be viewed favorably

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is USD 80,000 – 180,000. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/or Incentives, if eligible.
