As part of our continued growth in EMEA, we are recruiting a Relationship Analyst to join our Business Development & Relationship Management Group (the Client Group). The Analyst will operate in Zurich and support the business activities with a broad range of prospects and clients in Switzerland. Relationship Analysts provide centralised coordination of functions to service clients across various entity types, supporting business development and relationship management objectives and ensuring client needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate prospect reporting, presentations, account maintenance, and ad hoc requests.
  • Drive the preparation of high‑impact client and prospect presentation materials, briefing books, and collateral.
  • Participate in client, consultant and prospect meetings and conference calls as appropriate.
  • Conduct analysis, initiate investigations, and respond to internal and external ad‑hoc inquiries on topics such as portfolio and product information, investment guidelines, market trends, regulatory considerations and fees.
  • Act as a point of contact for various groups within client organisations.
  • Coordinate key client communications as a trusted liaison between clients and internal teams.
  • Support local Relationship and Business Development Managers in organising client roadshows and review meetings.
  • Capture and maintain client data in relevant internal systems.
  • Qualify and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring proper responses.
  • Develop an understanding of Wellington Management’s investment approaches and products most relevant to the Swiss channel.
  • Champion data accuracy and insight‑driven reporting via the DMP (Delivery Management Platform) for client reporting, updating requirements on existing accounts and creating new templates during onboarding.
  • Work with the CSO team to provide responses on operational questions.
  • Collaborate with the internal Funds Group for fund prospecting, onboarding and servicing requirements/questions.

Qualifications

  • 2‑3 years of client‑service experience, preferably within the investment‑management industry.
  • Understanding of capital markets and/or investment products.
  • Knowledge of the local Swiss market.
  • Strong academic background; progress towards a professional qualification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages such as French or Swiss German are advantages.
  • Self‑motivated, creative, enthusiastic and collaborative in a small‑team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
