About the Role: The role sits within the Enterprise Strategy Office and reports to the CEO. It focuses on shaping the firm’s product strategy through competitive intelligence and market research, guiding product development, fund prioritization and positioning in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor strategies, client needs and regulatory developments across asset classes.
  • Own and manage relationships with industry research and data vendors, overseeing the portfolio of tools and data resources.
  • Distribute market and competitor insights through management reporting and ad-hoc communications.
  • Support critical decision-making with custom analysis and strategic partnership.
  • Inform product development and fund prioritization via competitive intelligence and market analysis.
  • Develop frameworks and processes for product launch decisions and ongoing prioritization.
  • Identify opportunities to scale and enhance the product and fund platform.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Portfolio Advisors to develop compelling positioning based on competitor knowledge.
  • Mentor and apprentice to support next-generation talent within the CPS function.

Qualifications:

  • 6 to 12+ years of experience in the asset-management industry, including strategy consulting, corporate strategy, product management, competitive intelligence or industry research.
  • Ability to translate complex strategic questions into actionable analysis.
  • Commercial mindset with a strong record of collaborative leadership.
  • Proven project management skills and delivery of strategic insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a consensus-driven environment.
  • Passionate about developing talent and fostering innovation.
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities and incomplete information.

Compensation:

Base salary range: USD 90,000 – 180,000. Additional rewards include a discretionary corporate bonus and/or incentives, if eligible.
