At Wellington Hall Care Centre we are looking for a hardworking team player who is passionate about developing a career in the social care industry as a Care Supervisor. You will be motivated and compassionate, with a genuine interest in benefitting the lives of those within our care.

Requirements:

  • You must hold Care Certificate and be willing to take NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care to qualify for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing physical and mental stimulation for residents by taking part in social and recreational activities, on a one-to-one and group basis.
  • Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
  • Assisting with mealtimes.
  • Ensuring residents' independence, dignity and respect, by delivering the very best person-centred care.
  • Helping to maintain accurate records.
  • Undertaking regular ongoing training.
  • Developing relationships with our residents and their families in order to gain a better understanding of how to provide the best possible care.
  • Reviews with external health professionals.
  • Lead the team of care assistants.
  • Administer medication.

Skills and Experience:

  • Caring and compassionate nature.

  • Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to use IT systems.
  • Use of initiative and ability to problem solve.
