Situated on the edge of the Wellington College estate, the Health & Fitness Club provides a welcoming setting for members and staff. The Club is a busy, multi use leisure facility serving pupils, staff, members and external users, offering a professional and inclusive environment that supports health, wellbeing and community engagement.
We are seeking Part Time Recreation Assistants (23 hours per week) to join our Operations team in a varied, customer facing role that plays a vital part in the day to day running of the Club. Working flexibly across different areas, you will help ensure facilities are safe, welcoming and well presented, while delivering consistently high standards of customer service to everyone who uses the Club.
This role suits someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in maintaining a positive, professional environment. You will support safe facility operation, assist customers in using the facilities appropriately and contribute to a culture where safety, safeguarding and service excellence are always prioritised. The work is varied and can include poolside duties, supporting fitness and activity spaces, welcoming members at reception and helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the Club.
As part of a close knit team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of daily operations, responding calmly and positively to changing demands. Training will be provided where required, including lifeguarding and first aid, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential to support the Club's operating hours.
