Wellington College is seeking a practical, reliable and service-minded Logistic Operative to help ensure that its extensive campus remains well organised, welcoming and ready for daily College life. Working as part of Domestic Services, you will provide responsive support across a varied site, moving furniture, equipment and supplies safely and efficiently wherever they are needed. Your work will make a visible difference to the experience of pupils, colleagues, visitors and event clients. You will take pride in presenting rooms and public areas to a high standard, helping each occasion run smoothly from set-up through to clearance. Alongside this, you will contribute to the cleanliness and upkeep of shared spaces, supporting waste and recycling arrangements, responding to spillages and carrying out appropriate specialist cleaning and minor practical tasks. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, as is experience in a relevant logistics, facilities or site-support setting. You will bring a sound understanding of safe working practices, including manual handling and the careful use of equipment, and will complete vehicle checks accurately and conscientiously.
