Role Overview
General casual (Lifeguard) position at Wellington College Recruitment. Wellington Health & Fitness Club, operated by Wellington College Services Ltd (WCEL), is a vibrant and friendly working environment situated within the 400‑acre grounds of Wellington College in Crowthorne, Berkshire. The club serves over 2,000 members and supports the PE and Sports programme for more than 1,000 pupils at Wellington College each academic year.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure members and visitors experience a warm, professional and welcoming environment.
- Support day‑to‑day operations of the club across reception, fitness facilities, swimming pool and bar/café.
- Uphold the College’s core values of kindness, integrity, respect, responsibility and courage.
Qualifications & Experience
- A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and strong swimming ability is required.
- Experience in leisure or hospitality, especially in multi‑functional environments.
- Knowledge of First Aid, safeguarding, food hygiene and leisure management systems is desirable.
