Wellington Health & Fitness Club, operated by Wellington College Services Ltd (WCEL), is a vibrant, exciting and friendly working environment, situated within the stunning 400-acre grounds of Wellington College in Crowthorne, Berkshire. The Club is a well-established dual-use leisure facility, serving over 2,000 members and supporting the PE and Sports programme for more than 1,000 pupils at Wellington College throughout the academic year.
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable individuals to join our team as Casual General Assistants. This is a varied and dynamic role, ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in ensuring our members and visitors experience a warm, professional and welcoming environment, while supporting the day-to-day operations of the Club across reception, fitness facilities, swimming pool and bar/café.

We welcome applicants with experience in leisure or hospitality, particularly those who have worked in multi-functional environments and are confident delivering high standards of customer care. Familiarity with First Aid, safeguarding, food hygiene, and leisure management systems is desirable. A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and strong swimming ability is required.

Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. WCEL is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent", unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
