Your area of focus:
- The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery.
- This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high‑quality service.
What drives your day‑to‑day?
- Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
- Perform general car detailing activities, including vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
- Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
- Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
- Apply paint sealant
- Clean and polish wheels and rims
- Use a variety of hand‑held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
- Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement
- Complete quality control checklist
- Perform other repair duties as required
What are the must‑haves…
- High school diploma or GED
- Interest in automotive industry, and knowledgeable about vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Experience working with cleaning products and cleaning tools including power washers is an asset
- Must be dependable, reliable, possess a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using power tools and hand‑held equipment
