We are seeking a reliable and organised Food Technician to support the smooth running of our Food Technology department. The successful candidate will assist the classroom teacher during practical and theory lessons, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and manage stock rotation and food storage. You must be a team player and be able to use your own initiative and plan and prioritise your work effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock rotation and food storage.

Qualifications & Skills Desired:

  • Solid teamwork, initiative, effective planning and prioritisation.
  • Adequate experience or qualification in food technology is preferred.

Contract & Salary:

  • Contract type: Term Time, permanent
  • Hours: 30 hours per week with a possibility of an additional 7.5 hours Art Technician role for a suitable candidate.
  • Salary: £16,611 – £18,163 per annum for 30 hours; £20,764 – £22,698 per annum for 37.5 hours, depending on qualifications and experience.

Start Date: September 2026
