THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a talented Legal Counsel who is passionate about B2B sales and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast‑moving international environment, with a wide variety of contractual and commercial duties. The role involves work across multiple European countries. This role can be based in Italy, Spain, or the UK, giving you the flexibility to choose between three dynamic and exciting locations.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contractual agreements with the company’s partners and participate in meetings.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries and advise on the contract terms and conditions, including (but not limited to) commercial matters, data protection, and intellectual property.
  • Oversee contract review and escalation processes, ensuring compliance with legal and business standards.
  • Translate and clarify contractual terms to align with regional legal and business requirements.
  • Develop and implement legal playbooks in collaboration with other business areas.
  • Clearly explain contract terminology and conduct legal training sessions and workshops for internal teams, providing general guidance on the subjects under their responsibility.
  • Support high‑volume legal demands from different business units, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Pre‑empt, identify, and mitigate legal risks and potential contingencies, suggesting preventive measures to avoid legal disputes.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and provide responsive legal advice to business areas to further the company’s business and protect its interests.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Law Degree (obtained in any European Country).
  • Expertise in contract law, risk assessment, data protection and legal negotiations.
  • 6+ years of proven work experience in a law firm or in‑house legal roles within multinational companies.
  • Experience in contract review, negotiation, and general advisory.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including diplomacy and flexibility.
  • In‑depth knowledge of contract terms and conditions and ability to work across different countries.
  • Experience working with AI and Contract Lifecycle Management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to explain complex issues in a clear, simple and concise manner to all levels of the organization.
  • Solid judgment and business acumen.
  • Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and efficient.
  • Native or Fluent English and French is mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills to work independently, prioritise and manage multiple time‑sensitive projects simultaneously.
