We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Auction Warehouse Assistant to join our operations team in Fernhurst. This role is well suited to an individual who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and maintaining high operational standards, with an interest in developing their skills within a warehouse environment. You will be joining a team in its infancy and help develop processes within the team.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

Full training will be provided where required. You will join a professional, committed, and collaborative team that values quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and sort incoming stock into designated categories from a key vendor.
  • Prepare stock for auction.
  • Accurately catalogue inventory using Excel and photograph items using our App.
  • Identify and flag high-value stock.
  • Dispatch stock to our Guildford auction rooms.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Support general warehouse operations as required.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Positive, proactive, and self‑motivated approach.
  • Safety-conscious with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Keen to learn and get involved – no previous auction experience required.
  • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (preferred but not essential).
