The Company Behind The Role

Our client is a healthcare-focused consultancy that blends strategic thinking with a people-first mindset. They specialize in primary market research, helping clients across the life sciences make better decisions through meaningful insights. Known for exceeding expectations, they challenge conventional thinking and prioritize client experience in everything they do. With in-house moderation and analysis and a strong emphasis on partnership, they work closely with their clients and their teams to deliver high-impact, detail-oriented work.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full recruitment journey across the UK and US - you'll be the person candidates remember for all the right reasons, from first conversation to first day.
  • Think beyond the immediate vacancy; you'll be building talent pipelines and thinking ahead so the business is never scrambling to hire.
  • Make new starters feel genuinely welcomed - you'll lead inductions that actually excite people about where they've landed, not just tick a compliance box.
  • Play a key role in keeping the HR function running smoothly - supporting systems, maintaining accurate records, and making sure the day-to-day doesn't miss a beat.
  • Be a trusted point of contact for managers and employees on HR queries - providing practical, helpful answers and knowing when to escalate to the HR Business Partner for guidance.
  • Handle the paperwork that matters - contracts, amendments, benefits admin, leaver letters - making sure everything is right first time, every time.
  • Help keep payroll and benefits ticking along without a hitch, because getting people paid correctly and on time is non-negotiable.
  • Have honest, thoughtful conversations with people as they leave - and use what you learn to make things better for those who stay.
  • Bring fresh thinking to how HR gets done - whether that's a process that needs a rethink, a benefit nobody's heard of yet, or an engagement idea that actually lands.

What You'll Bring

  • Real-world HR generalist or talent acquisition experience - you've done this before, and you're good at it.
  • A genuine love of recruitment and an instinct for matching the right people to the right roles.
  • Enough employment law knowledge to give confident, practical advice - not just theoretical awareness.
  • Experience working with HR systems and payroll providers, and an appreciation for why accuracy in these areas really matters.
  • A calm, considered approach to employee relations - you know how to handle sensitive conversations with care and consistency.
  • The kind of organisational skills that mean nothing slips, even on a busy day with competing priorities.
  • Communication skills that flex - whether you're reassuring a nervous new hire or presenting to a senior stakeholder.
  • A CIPD Level 3 (great if you have it, not a dealbreaker if you don't).
  • Bonus points if you've worked in a fast-growing or small to medium business environment and know what it feels like when things move quickly, and everyone has to pull together.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • A culture that genuinely cares - this team fosters a balanced, healthy work environment where people are supported and encouraged to grow.
  • Hybrid working allows flexibility to support work-life balance and a people-first culture.
  • Summer Fridays.
