The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships. We plan to spend 16bn over the next ten years funding new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease, and climate and health.
These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won't be solved by science alone, and much of our work also involves influencing and engaging with others to make change happen.
We are looking for a Team Coordinator to join our team within Wellcome’s friendly and fast-paced Mental Health team. Our vision is a world where no one is held back by mental health problems. To achieve this vision, we are working towards the specific mission of creating a step change in early intervention for anxiety and depression, funding research support, convening thought leadership, and working with lived experience experts and external partners to help create this change.

- Help the team to be the best it can be, including supporting the best ways we can share and catalogue information and work with other teams.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with team processes including keeping team lists up to date, ensuring completion of mandatory training, and completion of staff surveys.
- Ensure smooth running of the team including liaising on finance systems and with facilities as required.
- Organise team activities/away days.
- Manage inductions for new team members.
- Travel and diary management for the direct line reports of the MH Director and Director as required.
- Support administration associated with decision-making processes in the MH team.
- Prepare summaries of information for direct line reports of the MH Director and Director as required, including for internal and external meetings, attending such meetings, and producing minutes as required.
