The Wellcome Trust is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships. We plan to spend £16bn over the next ten years, funding new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing, and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health. These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won't be solved by science alone.

We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and collaborative Talent Acquisition Partner to join the Talent team and play a key role in enabling Wellcome become the best place to work and support the delivery of the mission. Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Lead, the Talent Acquisition Partner will drive the development and delivery of talent acquisition processes ensuring that these are focused upon hiring and onboarding talent that will help enable delivery of Wellcome's mission. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that is driving innovation and embracing talent acquisition technology in a mission-driven organisation.

The minimum requirements of the role are:

  • Experienced in Talent Acquisition, gained in different organisations that have provided exposure to a variety of business practices.
  • Understanding of how resourcing practice contributes to achieving strategic business outcomes.
  • Understanding of talent acquisition, resource planning and onboarding; up to date with best practice and leading-edge thinking, utilising external networks to bring up to date external thinking into an organisation.
  • Experienced in developing process and outcome metrics; comfortable with manipulating and interpreting data.
  • Experience of operating in partnership with HR Business Partners to deliver talent acquisition services.

At Wellcome we have a hybrid way of working which is 3 days in our Euston Road offices (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
