Role Overview: Marketing Manager for the Communications and Marketing team at Wellcome Collection, a free museum and library in Euston, London, exploring health and human experience through exhibitions, events, collections, books and online.
Location and Reporting: You will work at Wellcome Collection and report to the Marketing Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, devise and deliver integrated, audience‑first, multi‑channel marketing campaigns that promote the Collection’s public programme and vision.
- Lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, aligning activities to organisational priorities and audience insight.
- Oversee end‑to‑end campaign delivery, working with Communications colleagues and external agencies to integrate paid, owned and earned channels.
- Collaborate across Wellcome Collection to embed marketing early in programme development, ensuring campaigns are clearly articulated and set up for success.
- Champion best‑in‑class use of digital advertising and paid media, using a robust approach to first‑ and third‑party data.
- Manage campaign budgets and resources, making informed decisions to maximise impact and deliver against targets.
- Brief and oversee the development of accessible, high‑quality, brand‑compliant campaign assets, taking a digital‑first, video‑led approach.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experienced marketing professional with a proven track record of developing creative, insight‑led campaigns that engage target audiences effectively.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including budget oversight, planning and delivery to deadlines.
- Strong experience commissioning and collaborating with a wide range of external suppliers, agencies and partners to achieve marketing objectives.
- Passionate about the cultural sector, with a commitment to inclusive practices and increasing representation and engagement among diverse audiences.
Working Environment: Hybrid working model: 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) from the Euston Road offices, 2 days optionally remote or in office.
