As Corporate Content Producer you will develop and publish engaging digital content that clarifies Wellcome’s mission, strategy, and activities. You will work with senior stakeholders and across the Content Team to deliver a coherent corporate content program for digital channels. You translate complex scientific and policy information into accessible formats and curate content that highlights leadership and organisational priorities. You will shape content with a strong editorial voice, SEO and accessibility in mind, while collaborating across functions to keep content timely and relevant. This role offers an opportunity to influence public understanding of Wellcome’s work and to contribute.

Responsibilities

  • Produce clear, accurate, engaging digital content supporting corporate communications priorities, including updates, explainers, leadership messages and storytelling.
  • Translate complex scientific, policy or organisational information into accessible content for diverse audiences.
  • Identify opportunities for new corporate content to illuminate Wellcome’s mission and strategic direction.
  • Develop high-quality content packages reflecting Wellcome’s leadership and mission by collaborating with senior executives and their teams.
  • Ensure content aligns with tone of voice, brand guidelines and inclusive communication commitments.
  • Use organisation outputs (reports, op-eds, pages, grants, policies) to create shareable content that improves findability.
  • Plan, draft, edit and publish content across digital channels, with emphasis on website and EC/Chair social profiles.
  • Collaborate with Digital Channels Manager and Corporate Communications Manager on a quarterly, cross-channel content plan.
  • Commission, produce and edit video and imagery with external agencies and internal teams.
  • Support community management and social monitoring, ensuring timely, accurate responses.
  • Maintain workflows and contribute to the content calendar for timely publication.
  • Optimise content for accessibility, SEO, AEO and platform best practices.
  • Use audience insight and analytics to shape content decisions and improve effectiveness.

Key requirements

  • Experience in digital content planning and production with ability to influence editorial judgement and strategy.
  • Experience capturing video and photography and managing production at pace with on-the-move content.
  • Proven experience working with senior executives to create high-quality content and shape outcomes.
  • Strong writing and editing skills translating technical information into clear content.
  • Experience using content management systems, social publishing tools and analytics platforms.
