Overview
In this Brand Manager role within Wellcome’s Communications team, you will help develop and deliver a clear brand strategy across the organisation. You’ll support campaigns and partnerships that strengthen Wellcome’s reputation, provide practical brand guidance, and maintain assets and training to drive adoption. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high‑quality brand activity, measure impact, and inform continuous improvement. This role offers the chance to shape a globally known philanthropy’s storytelling and engagement, aligning brand with Wellcome’s mission to fund science and tackle major health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of Wellcome's brand strategy to clarify identity and purpose
- Support campaigns, partnerships and communications to strengthen brand and reputation
- Provide practical brand guidance to colleagues for consistent application
- Develop and maintain brand assets, resources and training materials
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver high-quality brand activity
- Monitor brand performance and insights to inform future activity and continuous improvement
- Contribute to an inclusive culture through cross‑department collaboration
Key requirements
- Experience supporting the development or management of brands
- Track record of contributing to creative, multi‑channel brand or marketing activity
- Experience working with stakeholders to apply brand principles
- Experience working with external suppliers (creative agencies, research partners)
