Wellcom London is looking for a production-savvy, enthusiastic Creative to join our talented production team in a fast-paced environment.

Relationships are at the heart of what we do, building and growing these with our internal teams, clients, freelancers and suppliers is vital.

We’re production geeks looking for someone equally passionate about delivering crafted work across various mediums and channels for our clients.

You’ll love creating bespoke CGI projects and campaigns from the big idea down to delivery of the smallest banner ad or OOH deliverable.

You’ll be equally comfortable to own and steer the creative or collaborate with agency creative teams, rolling with the fast-paced changes that come our way.

The role will be based in Clerkenwell with our creative production team, you’ll report directly into our Head of Creative and work closely with our Head of Production, creatively elevating the work we do for all our clients.

You’ll work with our cross-disciplinary production teams, supporting and collaborating with them to deliver across our diverse client base.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive and collaborative approach, love a fast pace and always be pushing to improve the team’s output.

They will remain calm under pressure and be a team player, prepared to go above and beyond to ensure all work is delivered to the highest creative standards.

What will you be doing?

  • This is a hands on design role, you’ll not only be directing but you’ll also be an active contributor to the creative work being produced.
  • Work with our Head of Creative to lead and direct project teams across multiple disciplines including design, CGI, copywriting and digital production.
  • Overall you’ll be responsible for elevating the creative output of our production teams.
  • Develop compelling creative concepts and strategies for campaigns where needed that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to designers, copywriters, CGI artists, developers and animators to maintain a high level of creative output.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the digital advertising space and be comfortable leading the charge to ensure that concepts are built for digital mediums including social channels, display
    banners DCO, ECRM etc.
  • Comfortable overseeing creative in the developmental phases of print, video, web and multimedia
  • Work closely with our Head of Creative as a resource manager to ensure to ensure we have the right team and freelance support across projects where needed.
  • Be collaborative, strategising with internal team members to anticipate challenges, assess solutions, identify alternatives and make recommendations.
  • Be proactive with adding value to client briefs and relationships, helping to develop and enhance these.
  • Apply mature leadership and empathy in difficult team situations, leading by example, providing solutions and giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Mentor junior members of the team and support them in developing their skills.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, apply these proactively to our ways of working and processes

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in creative leadership, preferably within a production agency or digital creative environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design, CGI, copywriting and digital advertising
  • A self-starter, keen to learn and be proactive
  • Solution-orientated, thrives on solving challenges and finding the best approach, ability to make
    critical creative decisions under tight deadlines
  • A great team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for mentoring, presenting and client services
  • The ability to work well to deadlines and under pressure
  • A solid understanding of digital production, motion graphics and DOOH creative best practices
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and client needs
  • An Adobe Creative Suite and Figma pro
  • Proficient understanding motion design, video editing, and best practices held within those
    disciplines.
  • Willing to learn new skills and expand with the business.
  • Passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail
