  • Write clear, compelling copy across all channels, ensuring that, where applicable, SEO principles have been considered to ensure that content is high-performing
  • Adapt messaging for different platforms while maintaining a consistent tone of voice
  • Collaborate closely with both your Wellcom and client team members to create integrated and cohesive campaigns
  • Supported by our proof reading team, you’ll edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, grammar and overall quality
  • Build strong relationships with both our clients and our internal teams
  • Input into and take ownership of the copy approval process, as well as creating templates and refining ways of working to ensure we’re responding to the ever-evolving retail environment of our client
  • Experience writing to character limits and understanding of content as targeting for social
  • Confidence to present to all levels of the organisation and work with legal and compliance teams if needed.

What are we looking for?

  • Able to take constructive criticism and apply revisions objectively and carefully
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work to challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment, be able to use initiative, be proactive with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to understand and adapt to nuanced brand voices
  • Detail-oriented with strong editorial judgment and a passion for storytelling
  • Organised, proactive, and able to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience

  • At least 3 years experience as a copywriter, content strategist or similar role within an agency or in-house team, working on-site with clients is a bonus
  • A strong portfolio showcasing copywriting across multiple channels, particularly digital and social.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the office and contributing to the culture, therefore this role will require a minimum of 3 days working in the office (Tuesday - Thursday).
